‘Josephine’ is a vigorous deciduous climber with neat trifoliage leaves. Large unusual flowers have eight, broad creamy-green and pinkish-mauve outer sepals, slightly darker near the center, and layers of small inner ones of similar coloring forming a rosette.
Found by Josephine Hill as an unnamed clematis and launched by Raymond Evison in 1998.
