The Pearly Gates rose is a climbing rose with angelic, pastel pink blooms, a sweet scent, and old-fashioned form. It is highly floriferous, yielding big clusters of double flowers that open on old and new wood. The rose is 8-12 feet tall with buds opening all the way down to the ground. It is also known for its disease resistance and drought tolerance.
This rose was discovered by Lawrence E. Meyer in 1999.
